I’m a scientist and a ceramicist currently based in San Diego. I received my MS and BS in Earth Sciences from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. I’m most curious about how the Earth, its oceans, and life have evolved together. I apply (isotope geo-)chemistry to probe Earth’s climate history over deep geologic time. My art is motivated and inspired by the same kind of questions. I value good craftsmanship and try to make objects that invite a slower pace to the day.
